Powered by an Inverter for a 2008 240 Sundancer

Is there anything I should be concerned about by plugging my inverter into my shorepower plug to have 120 while away from the dock?

I assume you just want to use the outlets? A/C, microwave, stove, water heater would need a battery bank the size of your boat...why not just plug in to the inverter?

The only item I wanted to use is the microwave and the outlets. Obviously you would not try and power something that exceeds your output of the inverter.
