Prop question

I have a 14 x 19 michigan prop that goes to my 1985 260hp alpha one drive, that has a spun hub. I would like to have the props re-hubbed in lieu of buying new props, but im hearing different stories on why not to re-hub a prop and break down and just buy new. Is there any valid reason why I shouldnt just re-hub the old prop ? It's the type of hub that needs to be compressed into the prop. Any help would be appreciated.
