The situation is becoming worse every year. If I do not use my boat for a couple of weeks, props, shafts and rudders become completely fouled by any kind of marine life..

I've read about Propspeed antifouling paint for the running gear http://www.propspeed.com

Has anyone here got experience with this product????

I'm on my 3rd year with it. My props stay clean

I have my props, shaft and bow thruster blade done with prop speed every other year.
Virtually free of marine growth.
It's worth the money.

I have a set of new propellers waiting to go on - One set coated with Prop Speed - the other with Prop Gold :) (The cheaper competitor)

Results will follow. If it does 1/2 as good as my CopperCoat I'm a happy.

Ok guys, I'm sold! I will try Propspeed! Thank you!

One more question: can I put it on any underwater metal, including water intakes?

I have seen prop speed on rudders, struts, and trim tabs along with props and shafts. I haven't seen it on the intakes however. Check with the mfg to be certain.

Word of caution! It works, but it is all in the prep. Have an authorized installer put it on and sign off on the job.
