For those of us who have a slip for our boat, here are a few questions for y'all.... No real reason, just curious and finding something to do to kill time till spring.
4. Is your slip perpendicular to the main dock or is it an end/side tie?

I have ropes in place that stay in the boathouse. They're tied like that so the boat doesn't touch anything... not even the bumpers. I have some small bumper-ettes along the sides that stay too so I don't have to get the bumpers / fenders out when I return to port either. When I pull back into the boathouse I just put the ropes around the cleats and I'm done... it's super easy, protects the hull and solid as a rock when the storms roll through...
