Raft up at Lake Boca 1/24

Tim - it looks like Ray will be rafting up with us during the day, then going to a nearby marina and staying the night there instead of on the hook at Lake Boca, his generator isn't working.

I thought that was good idea so I made reservations too. The marina is located 8 miles north of the lake and is very close to Atlantic Ave (fun place).

how does that sound?

Randy

Randy,
That sounds awesome, but since I have that early Sunday flight, I won't be out late Saturday anyway. I wish I was staying out - I love Atlantic Ave!

Ok, were is that web cam site again. (Grin) I'm at work, it's 47 and raining. yuk!

Found it and got it up under another window. Looks like the Sheri/water patrol just had a nice talking with the lone sail boat. Have they implemented the no mooring laws on Boca Lake?

Make sure you put up some big CSR flags so we can find you all.

I thought that might have been you already out there. Hard to tell but looks like a 330 or 340 in the north east part of the lake.

I don't know what type of truck it is, but it looks like the same one that showed up last time is back. I thought it was a fire truck, but not sure this time. Part on the side of the road close to where the web cam is mounted.

Is this the CSR Group?

Yeah dude that's us. Ray beat both Randy & I. It's a nice day. Ray is grilling burgers we're all having a great time.

Eat a burger and have a cold one for me. Looks like a lot of fun. Some of us have to work(Grin) I tried to check out the inlet via the web cam, but it is down.

Sure looks like fun, Who is that standing on the foredeck?

Wow - your eyes are better than mine. I'm back and I left Randy and Ray still tied up but my little one was getting tired.

I just spend all day falling over stuff anyway and darn near breaking an ankle, LOL. Thankfully, I'll be in Tahoe tomorrow for a few days of snowboarding, so that ought to loosen me up!

Thanks again Randy and Ray - what a blast. We'll do it again soon.

One of these days we are going to make it down there and join you all.

The picture is indeed our raft up. The boats in the pic are Crucial (Tim), Odyssey (Randy), and White Pearl (Ray). In addition, after that pic was taken Rocky Roads joined us (500 DA). It was fun but horrible weather; maybe mid 70's and no rain...lol about you guys in the frozen north.

Thank you everyone, we had a blast.

Ray

p.s. aren't winter raft up cool!!!!

Would have wanted to join you all but, found water in drive oil last week and waiting on parts to seal up the upper unit. The admiral and 2 kids were looking forward to rafting up. It would be our first raft up but.....heck...there always next time.

Sounds like everyone had a nice time.
