I just bought a Raymarine pack that included a Ray218 VHF radio. I want to relocate the microphone connector. The location where the radio goes puts the mic connector right by your knees. I know it will get sheared off like the previous radio. In looking I think I found two options. 1) P/N A46054 Relocation kit. or 2) A46052 Second station Raymic. The complete second station mic (With LCD) is only a few dollars more than the relocation kit (which is just a cable). My question is: does the second station kit come with everything needed to connect it to the radio, along with a bulkhead mount connector for the mic to plug into? Or do I also need to buy the relocation kit as well?
