On my 07, I have the Raymarine E120 and autopilot system. I rarely run auto pilot, actually I never really turn it on. The reason for that is the E120 and autopilot headings are never the same. It is like 15-20 degrees off. It changes the E120 heading when turned on and then the chart isn't accurate.

I've tried the 3 spin maneuver, that fixes it for about 5 minutes then it is off again.

Any idea on how to solve this issue?

There maybe something interfering with your fluxgate which gives you your heading. Do you have any medal objects in the little storage compartment at the helm (the one on the left side of the dash)? If so take it out.

I will give that a try, thanks. There might be some small binoculars in there.

I was just out a couple of weeks ago and he was having a similar issue with the auto pilot on his Tiara. It turned out to be interference from a battery drill in the cabinet that was in the cabin in front of the helm. Once he took the battery drill out of the cabinet the auto pilot worked perfectly.
