That is from a combination of Maretron and Chetco Digital analog to digital converters.

This edition has and update to the RS-150 GPS. Evidently that fixed the issue with the position data blanking out on my Icom VHF.

Discovered right after I bought a new VHF.

Dammit.

Where did they put out the notice? I just received an official email in the last couple days. Any idea what the issue was?

They didn't. They quietly pulled it yesterday. If you try and update now you'll see its ver 4.5. According to a support tech I spoke to its a bug for those who use lighthouse charts. Should be fixed within a week. I'm still on the hard for the winter so I'm in no rush to upgrade..
