I purchased a 1997 330DA this summer. The radar on it usually works... I turn the unit on, wait the 60-90 seconds for it to warm up, hit power to transmit and then nothing. But this was ok because after about 2-5 minutes of no radar activity, it would all of sudden start working. And it worked fine. However in the last month, now I turn it on, power up the radome, wait the add'l 2-5 minutes and still nothing.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to trouble shoot this? I'm thinking its a connection issue. But it was still odd that it worked earlier this summer after 2-5 mins of nothing on the screen.
I'd love to see what people think? I might see about sending the unit out to be tested, at least that will confirm if it is a connection issue or not.
