Really gross problem:/

my father called me once, mom was out of town, he dropped a whole vase of that black wet potting soil on white carpet. he was freaking out. i told him dont touch it, call SS, they got it all cleaned up. Mom never knew.
when we bought this boat wife had SS come and do the whole interior. they go anywhere as long as they can get close to boat, i moved mine against the bulkhead.

Well i already called Servpro in my area, lady said they dont do boat work. Called another locally owned company, that lady was on a job and is suppose to call me back. May give Stanley a call too, they are a little farther from me tho.

That stinks!

Just finished the thread. I agree with cleaning it yourself or having the pro come in. You could also put in some buckets of DampRid ( Home Depot) over the Winter which may help after the cleaning. I always put in a couple of buckets in the cabin along with some Bounce sheets.

I’m assuming the tank cracked? We ended up upgrading to a 5 gallon tank as opposed to having the smaller one. It’s amazing how quick that little one fills up.
I plan on taking some damp rid buckets and putting em in there, already have bounce sheets in it:) i will probly upgrade to the 5 gal also ollie, damn thing does fill up quick.

This thread reminds me why I hated the porta potty on my first boat, which was a small 20ft cuddy cabin. At least it was a pump out model. If I have to have a big vat of fermenting excrement in my boat, I want it in the bilge where it can’t leak or spill on anything important. I did’t know about NoFlex (or it didn’t exist?) and there was nothing that kept that head from stinking up the cabin. We tried to have a “no #2” rule, but with young kids at the time, that was impossible to enforce. When they gotta go, they gotta go.

These are pump out as well. He just has a crack in the tank

Yeah I saw that. I cannot imagine the horror of removing a non-pump out and carrying it somewhere to dump it. Not with that radioactive toxic waste sloshing around.

Well theres a #1 rule only, so thats all it was, but still horrific….dick ass place i am storing it at wont let a cleaning service come on their property cuz of “liability” reasons…f’n bullshit, i mean i kinda get, but come on!! First and LAST time my boat will be there…its still sitting outside too, so wtf?? They already got my $$ so im fucked. Pissed also cuz their website says theyre open til 6, race to get there with my clean up kit and damp rid, gates closed….it was 5:02…will go early tmrw, mean what can i do, leaving for Pensacola beach on saturday:/ horrible timing for all this…it is not a pump out either, its a drag out lol….not those kind of facilities at my marina

Its not pleasant Creek

Taking the edge off with a nice bloody mary and a fine cigar in the garage…wife seems to think she may have covid, says her tastes are gone, im testing it for when she gets home from work, lol.

I disagree. After all the thread about vaccu flush problems, i like my sani pottie with macerator system, macerator dont work, i can take the bottom tank to a facility and rock on. Get a 20 gallon hold tank in bilge full. You have a problem.
Plus that shower wand with warm water. oh hell yeah. French bidet.
