Recall Gretchen Whitmer - Michigan

I did not read all of this thread. I want to look at a brokerage boat in upper Michigan. Is that allowed? What about hotel accommodations and food? Are there travel restrictions on out of state visitors? I will be driving in because we do not fly. Thanks

Put some Michigan plates on your car and a sleeping bag in the trunk and you should be fine. Bring cash so there is no money trail. (;-).

Should be no issues - I was up for a funeral a few months ago. This time of year is GORGEOUS in Upper Michigan - take a few extra days to drive around, take a color tour and enjoy nature! I'm not sure when "peak" is this fall...but it is hard to beat Upper Michigan this time of year!

The state is incredible the people are over the top.... it’s the politicians that are trying to destroy it....you are good to go anywhere... I am sure there isn’t a cop in the state that would give you a hard time with out of state plates....I have been pulled over a few times with Indiana plates ...they let me off each time :) well 4 out of 5 times.... the one time I was really speeding....damn construction zones... the funny part was he said I will mark down no workers were present.... that reduced the cost ....he was a nice guy :)

What the F is going on in the US? There seem to be some Americans that think the US is a Banana Republic and not a democratic republic. A plot to kidnap the governor? WTF?

I suspect my post will get flooded with responses seeking to justify this in some way, so if so flame on.

I truly hope that the majority of American's will condemn this unequivocally, but I fear that there will be a large number that won't, including the POTUS. We will see.

If the will of the people isn't followed, what can you expect?

"The greatest danger to American freedom is a government that ignores the Constitution." Thomas Jefferson

"A little rebellion now and then is a good thing." Thomas Jefferson

The MI governor is ignoring the MI Supreme Court that says she is acting illegally. What are people to do?

Unlike Canada, the US won its freedom by force. It may come to that to keep it.

Terrorists. Plain and simple. Don’t like it? Vote somebody else in. Imagine if they were Muslim, what would everyone call it?

Against the will of the people in the more than 50% that voted the Governor in? Vote her out, don't "take her out". What has become of democracy in the US? More and more of you are making it clear you will not let the democratic process work. That is not at all what the Constitution says.

Excuse me, but can you point out in the US Constitution where the word "democracy" is used?

.

Excuse me, but where do you find the US is a "democratic republic"?
