Removing Plastic Porthole Trim

Does anyone know how to remove the outer oval plastic porthole cover from an 87 230 cuddy? Are they glued on or just snapped in somehow? Thanks!

If they are the same as mine were, I have a '93 300 Weekender, they are just pushed on and caulked. The caulk makes it feel like it is glued on.
