Mine was working, but took a little long to shut off. Maybe 78 cycles, less than a min. It was like this when I bought it April of 2019. My 3rd summer with the boat, so I decided to replace the vacuflush bellow. Similar to the duck bills, not the best job…..

used this video

Put it back together with the bellow and o rings, and never shut down, ended up putting some petroleum jelly on the o rings and joints. Shuts off at 64 cycles, about 45 seconds. Better, but still seems a little longer than I think it should be….

How long does yours take to shut off? Changed the duckbills last year.

Thank you

Do the eyeball spot lights just pull straight down or ? All I could find searching was about replacement bulbs nothing about getting the fixture down. Outside diameter is about 3”

Yes, f you can’t get your fingertips under it, I have used a plastic knife. It has a couple spring loaded clamps, make sure your fingers don’t get snapped in them!

Sorry, I thought I started a new thread.... duh !
Anyway, 78 strokes on my last flush. Came here to tell you and saw where I messed up on the lights. Thanks
No problem at all, thank you for the info also

I have one vacuflush that is leaking somewhere. I knew the bellows was busted so replaced it and all 4-duckbills last spring. Still leaking down. Replaced bowl seal last weekend. Also checked all duckbills again and they looked good. About every 8 mins it now comes on and pumps for a very short time. Today, will replace the spring cartridge kit, 1/2 ball, and brass shaft with O-rings. My wife alerted me to a very “fine hiss” coming from the pedal side of the toilet when under vacuum. Hopefully put this to bed today.

The length of time it takes to build pressure is directly related to the length of hoses and distance from toilet to the vacuflush unit….I think…..

Yep, it's a volume thing.

That hiss your admiral mentioned is most indicative of a shaft/seal ass. leak. My bet is you found your problem.

Thanks Bennett, that’s a good point, whatever volume it has to evacuate the air to put under pressure will directly affect the time it takes, so I can’t compare my slip neighbors 340, or another’s carver. The distances could be all over the board.

Yep. That did it….thanks!

I am also having an issue with it going off for about 15 seconds every hour. I change the duckbills a week ago and the toilet is holding water. One of the things I thought of doing to isolate the issue is to remove the main 1.5" line and put a pvc cap on the pressure tank elbow to isolate the issue to either the toilet or the pressure tank. I will keep you'all posted
