I replaced my port side battery bank. Everything is functioning well, but my radio will no longer turn on. I have the stock Clarion head unit that the boat came with and am wondering if once it is disconnected from a power source there is a code or something similar that needs to be entered. I have experienced this with car radios in the past when replacing batteries.

Check the fuse for radio.
May have spiked and blew when you changed battery.

I did check the fuse. It was not blown. It does not appear to be getting any power. How do I reboot it?

My fuse on the forward wall of my engine compartment came apart internally due to corrosion... It looked good, but was not... Might want to check that; look for the bright blue line connected to a red line... The 60 Amp fuse is in between...

Never heard of "rebooting" just to get radio power(sometimes needed for a sirius tuner only). Something else is wrong.

Is this fuse specific to the radio, or would it affect anything else as well? Thanks.

I don't know how your boat is set up, but mine has a breaker on the main panel in the ER labeled "stereo memory". I have triped that one a few times fooling around and had symptoms like yours.

Going on the original trouble report the headunit not powering up, the issue is power to the radio and not the amps. These Clarion units need main power and power for memory. There are two seperate leads, usually red for main power and yellow for memory. I would check and make sure you have 12v on both leads.
