Ripple Rock Bites The Dust

That's probably why you have an open deck Sea Ray too! No Sundancer "cave" for you. The good news is you can move straight up to a sedan bridge when you get footitis.
There is a lot of truth there. I would have a hard time sleeping in one. If I could get the admiral to agree we would already have a bridge boat in Florida.

Arrange for her to get a ride on a bridge boat. Once she sees how nice it is up there your argument will settle itself.
There is nothing quite as nice as being on the bridge on a summers night in a quiet cove with great friends. I had a lot of great evenings on the bridge of my buddy Paul's 560 (JackieJ when he was on her and before he sold it). I think your 550 would have had a similar bridge. Paul put a big beautiful maple table up front that sat about 8 people and saw a lot of Texas Holdem and red wine (the vinyl cover went on before the night got too far along though).

Agreed 100%. I can't even begin to think about how many nights we spent sitting up there enjoying a cocktail and watching the sun set. Our club entertained the pilots and crew of the planes that flew in our annual Water Follies events...

and we also had a boat load (up to 20 guests on board) for our annual Christmas lighted boat parade. An annual charity event we sponsored was a dinner cruise that was auctioned off. We bought all the food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Usually these were for two couples, but this one we did for the local Cancer Center and had 14 guests on board for a 6 hour evening/sunset cruise. We took this cruise up through Ice Harbor lock on the Snake River then turned around and came back to one of my favorite spots to watch the sun set. A good time was had by all.
