The aluminum extrusion that covers the fiberglass clamshell joint got ripped off when it got caught on the dock during a wavy day. It pulled the rivets right out then continued to damage the fiberglass and mangle the extrusion.
The extrusion section that was damaged wraps from just past the rear passenger side vent around the rear passenger platform.

Where can I purchase a replacement pre-formed extrusion rub rail?

It looks expensive. I would get estimate and if high claim on insurance. You probably need to reseal the joint between upper and lower parts of your boat plus some fiberglass repair.

Back in the water we go. Learned how to do fiberglass repair, gel cost repair and straightening the rub rail best I could (no one carried replacement of the same style). Got to love a cheap boat - it doesn’t have to be perfect. Might replace all the rub rail this winter.

TACO Marine makes both the aluminum piece and the rubber insert. The aluminum comes in lengths, I bought one 12' long for a swim platform edge I did a few years ago. I had it shipped to my local West Marine so no freight. Google them, they sell online from many vendors. Easy job, drill out the rivets, remove damaged section, cut new one to length with a hack saw and screw back on with good stainless screws and 4000UV etc. It is very easy to form the aluminum to the boat by hand, it shapes easily. When done, just install the rubber insert. Do it on a warm day and the rubber is easier to tuck into the groove with a small screw driver or small putty knife.

I contacted the TACO rep but they did not have rail in these dimensions.
