Run Bilge Blowers continuously?

You guys have too many rules.... How in the world is running a blower the entire time going to make any difference ?

run a day with blowers off and immediately open the hatch after entering the dock and repeat next day with blowers on . you will see the difference what a heat fume comes out the compartment , diesels or gassers , both radiate a lot of heat from the block .

sucking air one side of the compartment out with the blower means fresh air is forced in thru the opposite vents - you have a forced ventilation with a huge exchange of airmass.

running on cruise the engines alone suck massive amounts of air so force fresh new air thru the ports in so the difference is not big at that very situation but after a day on the water with trolling , cruosing , docking etc. it makes a huge difference .

I usually run mine for a few minutes before starting it up then turn them off once I get on plane. Sometimes I forget to turn them off and end up with them on for our whole trip. My switch has lights to let you know they are on but unless I am actively checking them I don't notice them

Heck with blowers, I'm putting an A/C duct to the ER.

I installed a window AC in my bilge, but I leave my blowers on as well because it sucks the exhaust fumes from my Honda generator outside so I am safe and cool.

EDIT: this is a joke.
