My engine hatch operates fine, whether the transom door is open or shut. I would like to get it to function as it should. I clipped a wire on the safety switch and it still operates. I do not see any evidence where the previous owner may have bypassed the switch. Someone mentioned to me in another forum that there is a relay at the helm in the compartment under the steering wheel which may be stuck. Does anyone know the location of this relay in that compartment, or are there other things I should check.
