Salon Door Key

Anyone have an idea where to get a new key for the Salon Door? It's completely functional and locks from the inside, but I don't have a key for the external side.

Check with your local SeaRay parts counter.

With the Hull ID they might get you close to the few keys they used for your year/model.

With luck they might have a hand full for you to try and hopefully find one that works.

Thanks Jim...My problem, which I did not put in my post. Is there is no code on my lock, so no idea where to start. I can talk to some others at the marina, but haven't seen any boats of my vintage there yet. But I'll be in the water on Monday and I'll prowl around docks that day.

A locksmith can probably custom cut you a key as well.

Probably, but I live on Mid Coast Maine...Not easy to get people out for that stuff, I can't even get electricians out for the house, but certainly worth a try.

Is there a way to remove the latch/lock mechanism from the door? Then you could just take it to them.

I have not had time to look at it yet, but that is probably my plan once I get her home.
