Hello, newbie here! I'm curious to hear from real owners and boaters of bow riders. Other site claim these boats really pound, but looking at the hull looks like some of the sea ray boats have good wave cutting angle. I'd love to pick up a 28-32' boat that sleeps 4 and can safely go offshore in reasonable weather windows and sleep overnight in the sound/bay. I would modify it for fishing/trolling the gulf stream. If this is just nonsense please let me know. Thanks so much in advance!!!!!!

Bow rider and sleeps 4??
Bow rider in the ocean??

Both of these aren't really feasible.

How about an Amberjack. Check out the layout. It may suit your needs.

Formula makes great 33 and 35 ft crossovers (bowrider with a cabin). I am looking at one right now. They cut through chop like a hot knife through butter. The cabin is a bit tight but you get a ton of seating up above. I would feel comfortable taking either one off shore with proper planning.

Skunkman, nice ride! Ive been considering some similar boats like Intrepid 302 w Cuddy, Fountain Lighting, 32 Scarab. It just seems like all of those are center consoles with a small cabin at the front. Why the heck cant anyone make a nice bow cabin that you can walk on top of safely? All the walkarounds made have goofy shaped unusable bow deck space.

How 'bout a cruiser that sleeps 4, with a nice spot up top for hanging out on the bow? Go to Sea Ray's website and look at the new 320 Sundancer.

Four Winns Vista?? V hull, swim platform that can be used for fishing, sleeps 4.....

Second one to bring this up! Maybe I need to pay attention :) It does have a 21 degree deadrise for offshore.. Thank you...

Yes it does.

And the foredeck is good for walking on. Pretty flat, has very good non-skid.

Remember to look at smaller Tiaras and maybe Pursuits. Tiara lines up better with your intended use than the Pursuit line. Both are very sea kindly and the Tiaras are more comfortable for cruising than most production boats in the size range you mentioned.
