Sea Ray Production Runs

Hey, all...

Is there a thread or link source that has a Sea Ray history of the production runs for similar design elements?

For example: '02-'07 340 has the same hull, deck and interior layout -or- the'08-'09 270 is the same as the '10 290.

I just made those up, BTW.

I'm a little overwhelmed with the multitude of iterations available when looking for a used DA.

I've searched the forum but must not be using the correct keywords.

I don't know of any reference guide -- though it would be helpful. I used to keep track in my head but I've given up. To make matter more confusing, Sea Ray rebadged all the models last year. For example, last year's 270DA is this year's 280.

You may just want to post about a specific model, or you can search the product brochures in the SR product archive on their site...interesting, but takes longer. The stats and photos will point to the design changes and enlighten you as to the "numbers game" they seem to play every few years. Another example - the hull of our neighbor's new 390 looks suspiciously like our older 360.

As suggested go to the Sea Ray archives and download any boat you may like, then go through all the stats to narrow down the list, then begin your internet search. I selected 3 models that met my needs to view in person. After that I quickly decided which one to search for.

So quit trying to decide what to buy and narrow the list to what to look at for now it is much easier. MM
