Ship Shape Tv

Well I do.

Wait for it.... here it comes :smt021:smt021:smt021:smt021

They cover the basics, but I am sure it is not up to some standards.

Looks like it would be a cool job. You get guests to give you their products to fix up your boats.

watch it every weekend. I picked up some Spray 9 after seeing an episode about it and it works great!!!

DIY did a season of routine maintenance stuff with the G Man covering basic stuff like adding a battery and changing outboard parts. Not sure why they canceled it.

Ship Shape is on all of the sports channels that are part of the Direct TV sport package. They are also on your local sports network. Check out the web site and it should have a TV schedule. COMCAST Sportsnet West is in CA but it does not cover SD.

I watch it also! Helps get ya through the winter! It hasn't been on locally though at its regular time though?

hmmm... don't know what to tell you. They started airing it again down here for the new season.

It has an interesting mix of major projects (I'm sure I'll never build and install a flying bridge from scratch) and some smaller jobs.

I do wish they would do more segments on smaller jobs, like another poster said.

Used to like it.
Now, it's more like a big infomercial, touting two or three products with the mfg. rep on camera.
I'm sure he gets a lot of nice "stuff" for free for his boats...

Nice... another boating show. programmed it on my DVR. thanks Matt.

We love the Pleasure Boater show and have it programmed into several DVR’s so we don’t miss it. When we go to the boat shows we always wonder if we will run into Capt. Ted and the crew.

Ted has a very genuine and sincere delivery we are looking forward to the new season.

Talk about an infomercial. They do not try and hide it. I saw one of the vendors at the Annapolis boat show last year. It was the guy who made the fog horn automation device. He said I was the first one who had ever made reference to the show he invested in for his device.

Capt. Ted is a friend. He keeps his boat a few slips down from me in Knoxville. He filmed me installing a KVH system a week ago. It's supposed to be on in June sometime.
