I lived in the corporate manufacturing world for 25 years... World wide sourcing ...not home for weeks, cost reductions... Quality issues, Warranty issues, politics... Supplier nightmares....everything under the sun. Then I quit.... Retired I called it... Now I have a small machine shop where I got back to having fun again, making stuff... I once looked at these parts as strictly profit.. I now look at it like art... art is actually more fun. Here are a couple of pictures of parts we made in the last couple of weeks... The small square block is 3" square the other part is 16" tall and 14" wide both are machined out of solid.
I am guessing we all have unique backgrounds where we do some interesting things..... So show us some of the stuff you make
