Redoing the black-water tank/maserator plumbing and some rot below the floor and shower drain hose drained to the bildge. Does this seem correct? :huh:78SRV300bridge
Thanks GEO

I can't imagine SR would have ever designed a boat with a shower that drained to the bilge (yuk) instead of a sump.

Simple enough to add one.

My 268's shower drains to my forward bilge via hose. ...Ron
I agree with TOBNPR , but mine is exactly how yours is. As it drains the auto bildge pump pumps it overboard.
Thanks for the info. GEO:thumbsup:

I'm surprised, too. But, the boat in question is over 30 years old - I guess it took SR a little while to figure out where that smell in the bilge kept coming from. Funny, some manufacturers still dump everything into the bilge.

You should probably be able to add a sump box pretty easily (or make one). Here's an example: http://www.attwoodmarine.com/store/product/Shower-and-Drain-Sump-Pump-System

That's exactly what I was looking for. That makes sence and I think I will be able to copy that idea.
