I couldnt find too much about it online so I figure I wroould ask if anyone has installed one there self?
From the little I read on it ,just seemed like you drilled 2 holes through the transom and stick the ski hook through and use some kind of wood, aluminum, stainless steel piece for backing on the inside of transom maybe around a foot or 2 long to help spread the stress and tighten? I would imagine you would squirt some kind of sealer through and around the freshly drilled holes and mount in center as possible? Is it that easy?

what type of boat and what year? it could be that easy, but you'd be smart to compare yours with other of the same models out there to see where they put their ski hooks. all else fails, you could probably call SR and see where the fiberglass can take that type of stress.

Not sure where on your boat you could install one. I know on mine the fiberglass is not sturdy enough in the center to support the hook - even with a backing plate. The entire section actually bolts down to the deck so the entire structure would have to be modified in order to install something. If you are planning to go tubing - you can get a bridle which connects to the rear "D" rings which will then center the tow rope and not require a permanent installation.

I agree with Travis... That area might not be strong enough to hold a ski hook. D rings are preferable IMO
