Hey all

I have been lurking around here and thought i would register and finally post! I currently have a 1995 Sea Ray 250DA that I picked up this year. Took the family on a canal trip in Ontario which was great fun, and now have a spot to park it permanently on Lake Simcoe here in Ontario Canada.

I like the 250DA but starting to get the itch for more room already. The aft cabin is good for the kids but at 6'1" the V berth is tight for the wife and I. So starting to look at boats that I can keep permanently in the slip and forgo the trailering ability I have with the 250DA.

I have stumbled upon a 1990 Slickcraft 310C, has twin 5.7 Alpha drives and some recent maintenance, There aren't a lot of these here in Canada but from a small amount of info I can find online they seem to be a well made boat, with excellent seaworthiness with it's 11' beam. It also allows me to split up the kids (one in aft cabin and one in the convertible dinette) which is great.

Can anyone shed some light if they have experience with this model (seaworthiness, durability etc.)? I would obviously get a survey done, but some personal input from guys here would be super helpful. I am looking at 290-330DA's as well, to keep in the Sea Ray brand, but I thought this one looked interesting!

Cheers!

Ted
