Curious if anyone has experienced this...
I have an 09 290AJ. Normally when both ignitions are off the Smart Craft/Vessel View should be off/ blank. Out of nowhere at the end of last season, the STBD engine side would remain on even with both ignitions turned off and an alarm would beep every 2 minutes. The error message says to replace Lanyard (there is no lanyard on this boat). This will happen IF the boat is plugged into shore power or the Batteries are on. The only way it shuts off is if the shore power is off and the batteries are off as well as the AC Converter. I've had multiple mechanics on to try and figure it out and have failed. I have re-set by disconnecting the battery fuse and the batteries them selves, but nothing has worked. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thank you so much in advance!
