So let's hear about and see your cars.

It was one of my dumb buys. I wanted new and I thought I would like to drive it to car events. Didn't like showing up with "new iron". The market for it was still decent and I figured I would cut my losses.
Sometimes you have to feed the breast to find out. No judgement.

Now that itch is scratched

So this will be in my garage once I get over my covid bout.

This is my current project, not my car, but an exact looking one. My car was keyed one night when it was in a public parking garage (outdoor) and I lost interest after that. But now some 10years later I am going to restore it and make it like new again. I have already started and have ordered a completely new interior. That is going in after I finish the suspension.

This car reminds me of the Rush song Red Borchetta, as I used to drive this when that song came out. Funny how the lyrics are not that far off from what's going on today ...

Oh man that is awesome! I love that car with with the overdrive. Thats some car you have there. I have done many frame off restorations. And also have had these cars my whole life, since HS. Are you on The Triumph Experience? I am Skybolt over there as well. Drop in and say hello.

Yes , it has the overdrive too. Found it languishing in a garage for 16 years. Quite a mess but worth saving since it was a rare PI car. I don‘t think there is a part of that car that I havn’t held in my hand…
Did you hear the Roadster Factory burned to the ground Christmas night? A real tragedy.

What were the must-haves? AC? Manual?
I want Vintage Air. This one didn't have it and was priced at a should have it price. I didn't want to spend another $5,000 on top. I want an automatic. I'm not about to deal with a Muncie Rockcrusher at my age.
I am looking at one with Vintage Air and 4 wheel disc brakes (a big plus). Not black though. I'll know more by the weekend.

Finally my Chevelle got loaded on a trailer today. It'll be in my garage tomorrow, I hope. Certainly not the time of the year to be buying a car.....at least up in Michigan.

I've watched all the Mecum auction in Kissimmee. Holy cow! The collector cars are still strong. The 57 Chevys haven't been pulling the crazy numbers like they used to. The 2018 Hellcat Challengers are through the roof. I can't believe the prices.
