It snowed here again today and the lake is still frozen but the marina is thawed and damnit I'm launching on the 28th even if I have to float in the marina until the rest of the lake thaws! It should be thawed by then but with our winter/spring we've had nothing is for certain.

No more Ilhan Omar or Amy Klobuchar for me. Locally anyway.

Amy blessed us with her presence at a conference last month, speaking during our hospitality. It got so loud in there from everyone ignoring her in the back of the room, that she jokingly threatened to shut down the bar. Fell on deaf ears…..edit: all 10 people out of 300 clapped for her. 1 vote goes a long way in MN.
 
Bizarro world here too.

I worked on a friend's boat at the marina where my slip is on Friday. It was 89 degrees.

Afterwards, I drove a mile and a half to where I'm stored on the lake front. It was 70 there with the breeze off the water.

We open all the windows during the day and light the fire at night the past few weeks and it's nothing to see a 40 to 50 degree swing from one day to the next.
