So what is wrong with this for sale diesel 400DA?

Greg,

Here is another data point for you.......a 2003 410DA with 3126 Cats, an aft enclosure, with only 187 hours in like new condition just sold for $249K in NW Fla. The boat was on the market 6 weeks.

Confirms my opinion that the nicer boats sell soon for decent money and what Mr. Maier said yesterday, properly priced Sea Rays sell in a reasonable period of time.

Per just about everyone, once we finish our trip from Hampton to Baltimore and back in June we will be back on the market looking for a bigger boat.

We talked to friends of ours over the weekend who own a 2002 340. They said during the trip from Hampton to Baltimore last year the props were coming out of the water most of the trip. The lost their TV and broke other misc items.

Maybe don’t be so quick to assume you can’t sell the boat you have without taking a beating. I discussed trades on my 06 300da for a few months over the winter with several brokers and became weary with their “offers”. So, after launching my boat the first week in April, I had a blinding flash of the obvious and thought maybe I could sell it on my own. In less than one week the 300 was sold at a very fair price, which put me in the driver’s seat to begin negotiations on the 420.

It turned out that someone was looking for exactly the boat I had for sale, which was of course in better than showroom condition. If you do not have to sell, it is not necessary to move significantly on your price. As in real estate – there may be a buyer out there for every boat.

Builds character.

The question is "So what is wrong with this for sale diesel 400DA"....the answer...it's not a diesel 410DA. Private email for details.
