Before I get to my question, I just want to say. Whatever Professional Buffers charge, is worth every dime of it!! -- This buffing job is kicking my butt. I like what I am seeing and I know it will be worth the effort once I finish.
When I started, I wanted the gel-coat as smooth as a baby's butt. Now, I will settle for a wrinkled ass of an old woman!
In all seriousness the buffing isn't too bad on the smooth surfaces. However, when I get into the "textured" areas (deck, walkway etc) I'm not pleased with the results. The buffing pad doesn't seem to get into the "crevices" of the texture (if that makes sense). I've tried applying my buffing compound with a rag and rubbing it in then going over it with the pad.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
