Some beautiful wooden boats!

VT..did you ever go to the Lake George wooden boat show? Looks to be very similar...Pictures never do them justice....They are nice to look at but I wouldn't want to take care of them.

On Father's day we were in Watch Hill, RI. Came across this 74' beauty. Turns out she has quite the storied history as well.

ChuckW, that is a beautiful boat. I wouldnt want to maintain it but again if you own something like that you wouldn't have to. Lots of character in an oldie like that!

No, I've never been to that one (when is it? maybe that'd be a good outing for me and the gf), and I think there's even one here in Burlington I've never made it to(I can't believe that myself really, but sadly it's true).

I asked a local news person that I knew is into Antique boats if he knew of any local antique boat shows, and he sent me to this web site. He wasn't sure of the Lake George version, but said I should find something with acbs lake george in google.
