I'm getting ready to do my annual oil change and would like to have an oil analysis done. Suggestions for a company I can contact to get kits?

since you have CATs I would suggest going to CAT. Their prices seem quite good and they provide excellent support. Get the sampling pump kit too - it's worth it.

The lab I was using just folded, so I am going with Blackstone Labs this year. They are $22 per sample.

Caterpillar has a great lab. You buy the sample kit at a Cat dealer.....includes sample bottles and mailing envelopes and labels......take your samples and main them in. Results are back in about a week.

Cat also has a sampling pump that is pretty cool. The bottles fit the pump so to pull the sample with a small hand pump and a dip tube, change the bottles and do the other engine. It is clean, neat and avoids any potential for making a mess.

Blackstone sells a hand pump that fits their bottles too. Makes taking s sample without an oil change much easier.

Thanks guys- did not know that Cat had this service. I've got Ring Power right down the road so that will be convenient as well.
