Hello. My spotlight burned out, it has 3 wires red, black and gray. The new light I have only requires two wires. Do I just not connect the gray (ground) Your expert help is appreciated in advance.

Model number and mfg??? What is the original?

Odds are your switch has a spot and a flood position. Your new light doesn't have both of these functions. You could hook the two power wires together at the light so the light works in either position or just use one position and the ground.
