Springtime shine 2024

For sure, he’s good about keeping that in consideration.
We are ready to go. All done.

My back hurts thinking about doing this again in June, and I have 1/4 the size boat you guys have.

Bubble gum worked great last year btw.

Anyone have tips for cleaning/reusing the buffing/polishing pads?

Cheers,

No affiliation, just where I get mine

I put mine in the washing machine and dryer...when my wife isn't looking.
Did that once and got banned from touching the washer and dryer. Left a nasty smelly film. I soak in a hot bucket of dawn then rinse and spin excess water out with polisher. Lay them out to dry after.

I get my pads there too

How the hell do you get a polish g
My sides are 100% done as of last weekend. I dread everything above the rub rail...and that pain starts for me tomorrow.

How the hell do you get a polishing machine in between those 2 boats? Do you do it by hand? Even then it looks tight unless the picture is deceiving.

Ohh man...this year I am living the dream. I've got at least a foot between the boats at the rub rail. I've had years where there's literally an inch or two making the use of any tool impossible in.

Wow. That's tight.

Welcome to the club. I'm banned too. Apparently I put too many work pants in the machine and almost 'broke it.'

I thought I was an adult. Guess not.

Sorry, I didn't take a pic when I did the job and now the boat is snug as a bug in a rug in an unlighted garage.

I'll try to remember in May and post it then.
OK, I moved a few things and got close enough for a pic. The mermaid keeps watch over Winter.

Started today. For you smooth guys, how much bubble gum do you end up using. 37 foot boat and I went thru probably 2/3-3/4 bottle for one hull side.

Also, do you all do anything to rid the new whool pads of all the friz before you start.

I usually can do the entire boat with one bottle. +1 on @Shaps reply.
