SPX 190 OB or 210?

Am going to purchase one of these. Would there be a noticeable difference in how the 210 rides just off the coast? The 190 may be fine, but I don't know if the 2' difference in length plus the added weight will make enough difference to go to the 210. I have heard from some that you need to jump to 24 to really see a difference, but I am not regularly trailering a 24!

Yes there is a significant difference between 19and 21.

I only boat on lakes so I’ll let others comment on the SPX offshore, but when I was test driving boats there was a marked difference in ride.

Conventional wisdom is to buy your second boat first.

SPX is a great boat; make sure you read the big SPX thread in the Sport Boat forum.

Thank you for the input. Logically it makes sense that a longer, heavier boat (with perhaps a slightly different hull profile) is going to ride better - but without driving either, it's impossible for me to know how much of a jump that is. Your comment helps!
