We will be staying a week at a house just outside St. Michaels. Anyone have some good restaurant recommendations in St. Michaels and surrounding areas? Plan is to eat out once per day (either breakfast, lunch, or dinner). As of now we are traveling by car, but we have our fingers crossed that I can pick my boat up (from rock hall) towards the end of the week and bring it to the house as well for a couple of days.

Cheers,

Chesapeake Landing a mile or two up Rt 33 is classic, local, Chesapeake eatery.

Theo's steak house right by Ava's (pizza etc.), across the street is Awful Arthur's (sea food and the like) and down the street is Limoncello's (Italian). All great places to eat. Theo's has the best chateau breone, just need to get extra bernaise sauce. All excellent places to go and have a great time. Also check out Foxy's (after diner, although great for lunch and drinks) on Friday night's they have live music and usually a great time by all.

Group of friends and I ate at Theo's a few years back, I still remember it as one of the best steaks I have eaten. Maybe it was the company I was with or drinking all day, but we all still talk about that place.

Carpenter Street Saloon. Amazing breakfasts, lunches, bands at night. Washington ate there. Old and quaint. Check out their website. Our fave place at St Mike.
Then come out of CSS, turn right, 2 blocks to Justines ice cream parlor.
Wont steer you wrong, try these.

There's one in Cambridge as well and just as good. Perfect steaks every time!

Darkman, what you decide?

We did the following:
Chesapeake Landing-dinner - food was decent
Foxys - lunch - good food/drinks/views
Carpenter Street Saloon - we stopped by twice early in the week and they were closed both times for lunch, even though website said they were supposed to be open.
crab claw - dinner to pick crabs - ok if you are into that type of thing
Doc's sunset grille in Oxford - dinner - probably best meal we had
Headwaters seaford grille - takeout for dinner - good food.
Justines for ice cream - good stuff

Sorry about the recommendation for CSS. They used be good, cant explain that.
Envy you. Been long time since we took a long trip like that. obligation keep us to day trips now.
