Yup, turns out I got the XMD1 so I guess I'll get the soldering iron out and start messing around. (gulp)

Same for me. I'm curious what the solution is.I am not exactly sure which version of Clarion I have, but I have an 06 320 and it is hooked up to the 6 disc CD changer, and Sirius. I do have an AUX plug in next to the corner closet, but when I plug in my Ipod via the femal audio plug, I get nothing :smt089. I unscrewed the back of the plug (in the closet) and it is definitly connected to a wire. I have not yet check if it actually connects to the back of the radio.
How do I get to the back of the Clarion radio? Maybe I just missing some setting on the radio to get the AUX to work?
Thanks,
To hear what is being input thru the aux jack, you need to do the same thing you would to switch from radio to say CD Changer. On older units you press the power button to cycle thru your options. IE Radio>>CD>>CD CHanger>>Sirius>>AUX>>Radio. Some of the newest units have buttons for the inputs. On an '06 which is probably an '05 model Clarion. Make sure the ipod is connected to the jack and the volume of the ipod is up. Turn on the Clarion and keep tapping power until you see AUX. If you don't see it at all, it is not connected to the back of the receiver. On my CMD3, I see the AUX input even when nothing is playing. Hope that helps. Dan
