MY Clarion doesnt power on and I suspect it's a blown fuse. Can someone tell me where to locate the fuse box. Im also open to other thoughts on the cause of the problem Thanks.

there is two in-line fuses behind radio

no if you have clarion, unscrew radio and they will be in harness that plugs into radio. you turned radio on, on dash? and light came on and stereo amp switch below? I think your boat has all of those too.

Nope--Im getting no power on the dash or the receiver. What's ineresting is that the CD player eject button works, which makes me think it's getting juice. Everything else on the boat powers up fine. The amp switch is on. It's a real head scratcher.

when i mean power at the dash, I mean on the stb panel there is a stereo button when you press that does the light light up in the switch? That puts power to the radio.

I just had the same issue this past week (granted different boat, but Clarion unit). On the 205 there is a "stereo" fuse and a "stereo memory" fuse. The latter was located in line near the battery. This was cooked and when I replaced it worked fine. I was able to locate it by looking at the wiring diagram that came with the boat.

Depending on your clarion model, there may also be a reset button on the main unit behind the detachable face. Take a paper clip and press for 2-3 seconds to reset the unit. This wasn't the fix in my case, but was in my Clarion troubleshooting guide and I had previously been unaware. Hope that helps and hope you get your tunes back!

if cd changer eject disc means that you getting power on MEMORY power lead
you still need power on main power lead (breaker on panel, switch on dash and fuse behind radio are affecting that)
memory - yellow wire
red - main positive
black - negative (ground)

look at your your electronic interface module (eim) there is a stereo breaker (a little white button) push it in to reset it

it located under the steering wheel in the compartment.

Thanks for all the responses. I tried to check the fuses behind the radio but, after removing the screws, I could only pull out about 2/3 of the housing before meeting stiff resistance. I stopped out of concern about pulling wires from the back of the box.

I have not tried pushing in the circuit breaker and will give that a shot tonight. I am not aware of a stereo button on the console; there are some accessory buttons and I've tried them all with no success.

I am also going to call Clarion. Thanks.

Thanks very much for this--I went down to the boat today and re-tried the accessory buttons with no reaction. I don't recall even seeing this one, but I may have glanced at it and assumed it was the horn. I'll try again tomorrow and will buy you a beer if it does the trick.
