I use to have a slip at Gunpowder but only store there for the winter now, once in a while I will launch the 210BR at Mariner Point and take a spin around the marina, I will keep an eye out for you.

Negative on Maxwell Point, APG put up markers and you can't get in close any more, use to be a great spot!

Darn those sea gulls

I'll have to look for you next Friday. Taking delivery of the 320 from MM gunpowder.
I feel like a kid on Christmas eve.

So Mark, let's hear all about it. I take delivery at Gunpowder on Monday.

All I can say is, make sure you go over every inch of the boat! Everything they touched was screwed up. Not to mention the fact they knew for a month we were going to be there Friday and they were still cleaning when we arrived. AND the did a terrible job anyway!
Soooo..lets see, they installed they GPS and it don't work (I found a wire they didn't hook up under the cover they didn't put the screws back in) they installed they dome for the radar and got silicone all over the top of the canvas, (but at least it works) they winterized the boat and I found a coolant hose and a sea strainer that was leaking before we even left the dock. Half the questions I asked the "delivery captian" who was in fact just a tech from service, answered with "I'm not sure but there is a book here you can look thru."
Oh yea...and the transome lettering looks like crap.

After a not so friendly call to the sales person, he SAYS somebody will be out this week to address the issues. That's OK...my next one won't come from there. :smt021 :smt021 :smt021

Other than that, the boat is GREAT

Just a quick update on our dealer issues. The service manager called me on Monday to make nice-nice with me and assured me ALL issues would be taken care of. Today (Thursday) the tech called me from my boat to inform me everything has been done and wanted to know if there was anything else he could do while he was there. I failed to mention preveously an issue I had with starboard oil pressure on the way over to our slip. Turned out to be simply the sender on the motor. We are going down tomorrow afternoon to see how everything looks.

I had the same "delivery captain". He didn't know much about the boat itself. The real captain arrived in town late Monday and delivered my friends boat on Tuesday. I met him and he was a great ambassador for Marine Max.
My problems were my carpet had stains on it that weren't there as late as last week. Some of which I'm not sure will come out. I was told to ask them to replace the carpet (2X3 area) and I may have to do that but It's a pain to have to worry about that with a brand new boat. Everything else seems ok. They were also cleaning my boat when I arrived. I stopped by there Friday and they were waxing the boat and mentioned they would be by Monday before delivery to go over it again, which was nice but I'd rather they be gone before I arrived.

Do people congregate at Maxwell Point anymore?[/quote]

I heard that Maxwell Point was open for business again. I cruised into Gunpowder Cove to get gas (didn't see your boat), then went out to Maxwell to clean the hull...............ah, just like old times.

Hi John,
I was at Maxwell Point yesterday. My wife prefers other places with more to look at but when we are limited in hours we'll go there.
Sunday wasn't too busy but it was pretty packed in there late Saturday afternoon as we cruised by.
I personally like it there as a place to swim and clean the hull.
The water is warm, the bottom hard sand, and so far I haven't stepped on any explosives.

Outside of the Edgewood Arsenal, Aberdeen Proving Grounds restricted areas. There are rumours of unexploded ordinance on land and possibly in water.
