Stolen yacht sinks after ramming into a pier at the Miami Beach Marina

This happened last night, can you imagine watching from your boat as someone rams an 80 foot yacht back and forth along the finger piers until the boat sinks? There isn't much detail on where the yacht was stolen from, I imagine that the thieves were trying to steal the yacht from it's slip at that marina.

Hopefully the owners were not stingy on insurance.

Apparently this boat was named 'The Mimi'

Have stayed there quite a bit. At times they pack large boats on the T-heads and inside the breakwater. Can require very careful movement to get in and out.
