What is the best fix to repair exterior, stripped snap holes. I want to be able to reinstall the snaps when done. I'm not sure that a 3m 4200 adhesive sealant would do it.

You can fill the holes with marine-tex and then re-drill and reinstall the oe snaps with the 4200
or you can buy snaps with oversized screws.

Thanks for your help!!

I had a few come out. I used two part epoxy you get in twin tube syringe form Big Box Home Store ($10) and put them back in. After 2 years they are still solid.

Stick a toothpick in the hole. Coat the threads with sealant and screw it in.

The toothpick should give it just enough "bite".

I had heard years ago use the end of a Golf tee. Shove it in the hole then snap it off should give a bite all so I guess and then use silicone for sure
