Since the season is mostly over, I had a few things done to my boat before putting her into hibernation. All season, i've wished i had a swim platform for my boat and decided to finally get it done. On top of that, I had some rips, tears, and burn marks repaired / replaced as well as having a custom canvas top made. Picked her up today and am very happy with the results. For any of you on the bubble about whether to add a platform or not or whom to purchase from.. look for yourself. The fit and finish is amazing.

Nice upgrade. I put one on my 290Da....best thing we did.

Thanks guys! The only sad part is that I have to wait till next Spring to finally enjoy it.

Like having a new boat...next spring is going to be great for you! Wake tower, new cover, swim platform - what's next, exhaust? Looks awesome!

Here are some pics although the 290 I had is a totally different hull than your 2008.

I got mine from them 3 years ago. Factory-look finish and zero complaints. You will LOVE the added real estate next season!!

Your platform looks huge, much bigger than the one I put on my 190 Signature. How far back does it extend?

What's the installed cost on something like that, if you don't mind me asking? Also, I'm assuming you didn't install yourself, but if so, how bad of a job?

Thanks, and it looks awesome!

What's the installed cost on something like that, if you don't mind me asking? Also, I'm assuming you didn't install yourself, but if so, how bad of a job?

Just about every shop quoted me roughly 4-5 hrs of labor time- so basically multiply that by the hourly labor rate of a shop you trust and that's how much it will be in terms of labor. You'll need to email the company to get a price quote for the actual platform specific to your boat. The job itself seems doable for the average DIY'er, but an assistant (maybe 2) would be a must as the unit weighs between 80-90lbs on its own. It requires several dry fits- so positioning, then removing, then repositioning will be needed before finally sealing the holes and bolting it down.

I see that too it looks like the stainless rubrail is bent back off the platform?

The stainless steel rub rail wasn't standard and had an additional charge. I wanted to match the existing rub rail as close as possible. The moulding/rub rail was shipped longer than necessary and required trimming (they do this on purpose as stated in the installation instructions). It was unbolted at the ends during dry fitting, so it wouldn't scratch the boat. This is what you're seeing in the close up picture that was actually taken by the installer during installation, days prior to my picking up my boat. It has since been trimmed to proper length to match the angle where it attaches as seen in the first 2 pictures of when I actually picked her up.

Do you have plans to remove the original ladder?

I thought about removing it before having the platform installed, but it lines up so well with the swim platforms ladder and works as a perfect pull handle when climbing aboard. I'm probably gonna leave it for now until next season to see if it can serve a purpose as a boarding handle.

That's a sweet 210 you got there. Did you add the tower too?

Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words. The tower was already installed on the boat when i bought it. I am the boats 3rd owner. On top of the canvas top, I also had the sun pad refinished due to a rope burn, the drivers seat restitched due to tear, and additional vinyl repairs to the side padding on both sides.

Absolutely the BEST upgrade we made to our Crownline 266CCR. Great company to work with and great customer service!!!! You won't regret doing it.

I'm happy to report that we FINALLY had a chance to splash our boat this season and try out our new platform. Based on this one trip, It looks like its going to be the hang out area for my kids and they sat, jumped off, and basically stayed on it the whole time we were on the hook. Seems to free up so much more room. A very worthwhile investment.

Hi Shawn,

Thank you for your time and interest in our Swim Platforms.

We offer 2 Swim Platform styles for the Sea Ray 200 & 210 Signature Bow Rider,

Overnighter and the Select BR / OV. Attached are pictures of our Sea Ray 200 / 210 BR & OV

extended Swim Platforms.

We hope you’ll agree that these platforms complement the boat and make a great addition.

The safety factor alone makes an extended Swim Platform a “must have” on your list.

Our “Transom Mount” Style Standard Features:

Our Sea Ray 200 & 210 BR / OV “Transom Mount” Swim Platform is actually molded to the

contour of the transom! No shaping is involved…it fits!

This platform measures 80” wide x 27” deep of usable surface.

The factory Sea Ray integrated deck is 15” deep.

For safety, the top surface has a diamond pattern non-skid in the gel coat.

Our “Top Mount” Style Standard Features:

Our Sea Ray 200 & 210 BR / OV “Top Mount” swim Platform overlays and bolts through the

existing platform. This platform measures 79” wide x 40” deep of usable surface.

For safety, the top surface has a diamond pattern non-skid in the gel coat.

It offers a good “grip” and is easy to clean.

Standard Features for Both Styles:

Our Sea Ray 200 / 210 BR & OV Swim Platforms are constructed of fiberglass with a gel coat finish

similar to your boat’s construction.

A heavy rubber molding (your choice of black or white) trims the bottom edge for an attractive look,

as well as helping to ease those boating “bumps”. Upon ordering please mention the color of rubber

molding that you prefer.

The platforms are tapered inward at the aft corners to allow for easy maneuvering around docking

areas, pylons and other boats.

The Sea Ray 200 / 210 BR & OV Swim Platforms come with an under mount, telescoping 3 step

stainless steel ladder. The simple one handed operation makes the ladder a breeze to use and stow.

Our under mount ladder allows the top surface to be clean and free of obstacles, complementing

the boat’s clean design. The steps are extra wide, measuring 2 ¼”.

In addition, the bottom step is 39” from the top of the platforms making boarding the platform an

ease. You’ll be spoiled by this “two tube” wide 3 step design (see attached pictures).

Your boat’s factory ladder can be removed.

We install an oval port in the platforms, allowing air and water pressure to transfer through.

The oval port can also be used as a grab handle while using the boarding ladder.

This eliminates the need for a grab handle, a possible tripping hazard.

We supply 2 stainless steel down rod supports for the aft end of the platforms for added stability.

The undersides of the platforms have an easy to clean gel coated surface.

We are confident our Swim Platforms are the most structurally sound in the industry.

By overloading the stern (back) area of any boat you could compromise the engine’s

exhaust system.

Weight:

The Swim Platforms weigh approximately 90 pounds.

Shipping weight is about 275 pounds, due to the crate and packing materials.

You will need to be able to offload it from the truck when the platform arrives.

Installation:

We provide stainless steel mounting hardware and installation guidelines. Due to your boat’s

manufacturing differences (on the top mount style only), the side flanges may need final shaping

adjustments during installation.

Two people can usually complete the installation in less than half a day. You’ll need to supply a

tube of caulking; we recommend using3M 4200 “fast cure” if launching the next day.

Seventy percent of our platforms are owner installed while other customers may use a local

dealer, marina, boat yard or handy person.

Warranty:

We offer a one-year warranty for workmanship and materials.

Should you ever have a concern, please let us know. As an exclusive Swim Platform fabrication

company since 2001, we are extremely proud of our track record.

Our staff’s tenure nets over 175 years (that’s not a typo) of experience in the marine industry and

they are ready to build your new Swim Platform.

Pricing:

Our Sea Ray 200 / 210 Signature Bow Rider & Overnighter “Transom Mount” Swim Platform

package is $1245.00.

This includes all stainless steel mounting hardware, 3 step ladder, oval port, rubber molding and

installation guidelines.

Our Sea Ray 200 / 210 Signature Bow Rider & Overnighter “Top Mount” Swim Platform

package is $1295.00.

This includes all stainless steel mounting hardware, 3 step ladder, oval port, rubber molding and

installation guidelines.

*****Upon ordering we will need to know if you have a 200 or 210 Signature Select. *****

Shipping Quote:

(This is a separate quote from the platform package pricing.)

Wood shipping crate and packing materials total $94.00.

The current freight (FOB Phoenix, AZ) to a commercial address at zip code 30043 is $246.00.

You will need to be able to off load them from the truck.

A delivery charge to a residential address is an additional $63.00.

We do not apply sales tax for out-of-state delivery.

**** Freight charges in your quote are based on the Swim Platform being delivered

to a commercially zoned address (excludes farms). If the address is not commercially

zoned, the freight company charges an additional $63.00. Shipping options include

call ahead appointments and hydraulic lift gate services at no extra charge. To avoid

a redelivery fee, please let us know whether the shipping address will need a lift gate

so that we may schedule the right truck for your delivery. ****

Lead Time:

Our current lead time is about 7 – 8 weeks.

Payment Options:

Due to the unstable costs of raw materials, this platform package quote is good for 30 days.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, wire transfers and checks. We charge your credit card when

the platform is shipping. Since no deposit is required, ordering is easy.

We build quality fiberglass Swim Platforms and offer “Factory-Direct Pricing”. You can be

assured that you will be getting the best craftsmanship and pricing available.

In Summary:

These extended platforms are a perfect addition as boating safety is always a concern.

Everyone from kids to guests to boat owners will appreciate these platforms.

As you may have noticed on our web site’s “Makes and Models” page, we strive for great looks

and functionality.

We only build Swim Platforms and we’re serious about this business!

From the safety aspect, to the added value and enjoyment, to our quality, it’s a purchase never

regretted.

If you have any questions or would like to submit your order you may call us at (602) 431-8225 or

reply / forward this quote to our customer service department at service@SwimPlatforms.com.

We would like to earn your business.

Thank you for your time and inquiry,

Paul
