Swim Platform Teak Inserts Refinishing...

I knew this was going to be one of my winter projects, and decided to get a jump on it while the temperatures were nice this afternoon.

After cleaning with the StarBrite teak cleaner:

After using the teak brightener:

***Note: the bottle says to wear gloves for this step. It's a good idea! ***

Once these are dry I will oil them and post the finished product here.

I was amazed at how well the teak brightener worked!

Looking good. The difference from picture 1 to picture 3 is a huge change in appearance.

Not bad for an afternoon's work. Now I just have about 50 linear feet of railing to do....
