Switching Arch Lights to LED

Only problem I am finding is that they are out of stock everywhere. If anyone finds them please let us know. Thanks!

You guys are going to make me go broke. I just ordered two lumitec mirage fixtures to test out in my arch. Will order the other two if they work out.

I did temporary install mock up of the Rail 2s over the back cockpit area and connected to the same circuit/dash switch the arch lights are connected to.

I'll see if the spacing needs to be adjusted before I make this more permanent.

Oh you did go with the white ones. That looks pretty good. If it’s convenient could you grab a photo with the lights off?

One other thing...while expensive, Customer Service is top notch. I actually cracked the first one I installed and it was completely my fault, but they replaced it under warranty. I prepaid for one to be shipped immediately, and they credited me back once the received the cracked on one back.

I ordered mine through Amazon and received one with a blemish in the lens. I notified Amazon, they shipped me a brand new one and told me to keep the other one.

Installed and ordered two more.

Now I need to find some to replace the floor lights that aren’t as bright as these guys.

Let me know what you find. I was looking for the same type of thing that had the color switching for around the cockpit, but have not found anything suitable as yet.

I’m not looking for color switching on the bottom. I’m okay with white light there. I just want something that doesn’t look like it was designed in 1955. :)

I got these to replace the step lights.

Amazon.com: Partsam 4pcs 3" LED Oblong Stainless Courtesy Light Accent Yacht Marine Boat Clear/White, Submersible LED Boat/Caravan Light, Walkways Step storage Led Interior Exterior courtesy Lights lighting: Automotive

They are just bright enough and don't look too bad. Better than the shorted bulb fixtures that were stock for the 1992 300DA. I was worried they would be too bright for the inside and was prepared to use some good tinting over the lens.

I bought them too or something very similar and decided to stay with my original fixtures with LEDs in them. I felt these were too bright for me...

I really wanted to keep the original but they were shorting out and the inside step caught on fire. Literally was burning when I was cleaning the pigtails. These weren't really that bright. I had some window tinting I was going to cover the lens with to dim then if they were.

They also have them with RGBW LED.

Reviving this thread. Are the full spectrum Lumitec Mirage lights in fact dimmable? It looks like a few of you said yes, but I am not seeing that on their site. Can someone confirm? Thanks

The thing you looking for is called TTP which is timed toggle protocol. These have that feature.
