:smt100I have a 1997 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge with upper and lower helms. Upper Systems Alarm Panel does not work and I would get random false alarms. I swapped lower SAP (which works) with upper SAP (which doesn't work).
Now I get oil pressure alarms as soon as ignition switches are turned on. Alarms stay on (cannot be turned off) until engines are started and they turn on again when engines are turned off.
The only way to silence them when the engines are not running is to turn off ignition switches.
I tried unplugging lower SAP but when I do, all lights and alarms turn on on upper unit.
1. How can I disable lower SAP?
2. I've checked with LLTINC which is listed on another post
on CSR about SAPs that don't work. They cannot repair
them if they are potted. Mine are potted.
3. Does anyone know where I can find one? As mentioned in
the post noted above, I cannot find a Systems Alarm Panel
anywhere.
4. Finally, can anyone offer any info and/or guidance on
upgrading my current Systems Alarms to a digital system?
I've seen this mentioned on other posts.
