You are absolutely 100% in the right by staying 100 feet away. I have no problem with that as it is legal. As for the morons in the mouth of the cove anchored, they deserve to be jostled around. If you are following the laws and are polite about your wake one has no reason to be upset but there really has been a problem with novice boaters lately.:thumbsup:The wake thing goes both ways. I love when I am pulling skiers into and out of the cove near our place, only to have someone idle in and drop anchor in the mouth of the cove. Then they get pissed at me because I'm throwing a wake - even though I always maintain more than 100' of seperation. Interestingly, when water patrol comes around and they see someone anchored in that position, they always tell them to move.:smt038
