I am looking for a cocktail (coffee) table for the back end of a 370 express cruiser. I am thinking of the typical sea ray style table on the aluminum tubing legs. I would mount it on the engine hatch. I would also like to attach a bench under the gunwale on one of the sides

Welcome here...

Success.

You might want to use the search facility here since there have been several threads on this. Some of us have made tables, some easy, some hard, and others have found work-arounds. The threads I recall have some photos in them.

Stever,

This is the table I made for our 280 (with some of our boating friends)

This is a table I made from teak to match a friend's 320 cockpit table.

The table in the cokpit of our 340 was made by Scott Samuelson at Swim Platforms, Inc. He said it was something they were considering offering. You can see part of it in the pic below.

I made the base out of marine plywood and covered it with a neutral laminate. I used the same post base that I have for the BBQ on the swim platform.

Another thought for a base....the RV stores sell a tripod base that accepts the standard 2" posts. They cost about $50. We like that base because it's easy to put out on the dock with some chairs when visiting other marinas.

If you are interested in the table from SPI let me know and I can contact Scott and see if they are making them and get a price.

Henry,
I can't get page to show up by placing those URLs to the browser.

Stever -
there is a guy that sells these things on ebay. he lives near cadillac, michigan and he gets his stuff from four winns. seconds, scratches, discontinued stuff, whatever. i drove up there and bought a table with a scratch on it for 20 bucks, I think. it is a beautiful table, solid cherry and it doesn't say four winns anywhere on it. let me know if you want his info, he has a huge pole barn FULL of boat stuff. we got a couple seats from him too, for less than half price of new.

I have a table top, it's the original sea ray table for the cockpit of my 37ec. you'll need to buy a aftermarket base. the top is in new condition. let me know if you are interested and i'll send you some pics.

Here is the link to the seller's ebay page.

I found some chairs I wanted and emailed her, her name is lonnell (her and her husband do the ebay thing on the side) She gave me her phone # and I called to set up a time to meet at their place. I wanted to see the chairs in person. They have lots of stuff, and they get it all from four winns, like i said. From what I saw, there is a LOT more stuff there than what is on ebay. The were nice folks, but they both work other full time jobs, so they may be slow to respond. Keep in mind, all the stuff was rejected by four winns for some reason, but stuff that is worthless four winns just throws away, so it is mostly stuff that works, but has a cosmetic defect. I had a great experience buying from them, and maybe they can help you guys too. Another thing they had a lot of was steps - the wooden ones that lead down into newer sport cruisers cabins.
