Hi Tom.
About 50 seconds in this video you see I have some tab fluid leaking out from somewhere on my pump reservoir.

I can't see where it's coming from externally, but I did not take the lexan top off the unit to investigate further. Have you seen this before, and if so can I just buy the culprit part?
Thanks for looking.

Todd,
Really like seeing a clean bilge I was really surprised last summer when I got my boat back from Lake Union after they replaced the coupler it was spotless they power washed it before delivery not anything laying in the bilge. The only problem was water that would seep out from between the stringers after a day on the water thought I had something leaking but it was fresh water. After about a week it was bone dry and clean. Hope you get back out soon.

Todd,

Yes I can see some residue under the pump. I would take of the cover and see if you find any signs of a leak. Look at the back of the unit and see if you see anything there. Perhaps you should run the Tabs up and down a few times first. Have you been loosing fluid in the reservoir?

It does look like very little (it attracts grime so it always looks dirty) and I really don't see red ATF there. Also check the fluid level with both Trim Tabs fully up. Sometimes if you top off the level with the Trim Tabs down a little fluid may overflow when you retract them. If the level is over the fill line when you inspect it, that is what may have happened.

Let me know what you find after you inspect it with the cover off and we'll go from there.

Thanks Tom
I appreciate the advise. I'll have a look tomorrow.

I will be checking into this closer tomorrow. After thoroughly cleaning my bilge and running last weekend I clearly have a leak. I need to jump in there and cycle it. Can you tell me what a pump runs>?

The replacement pump is part # V351HPU1. We don't sell directly to customers, but a little search will show you the prices. Try BOE, the sponsor of the SeaRay forum, they are a great company.

Let me know what you find before you replace the unit.
