I have 06 240 sundancer da with marine air and a transducer.During my first outing this season the bilge quickly filled with water. It was flowing thru the holes in the forwad engine compartment bulkhead.where is likely source?

Fresh water tank leak?

Is it fresh water or lake water? I have never owned this style of SR, but my guess is a ruptured water line or fitting coming from the fresh water tank.

only one way to know for sure. get as much water out as possible. put it in on the trailer (assuming you have one) and watch... could be a hose left off from winterizing, could be 10 different things....

Did it stop after a bit and no more water come in? I ask because, depending on how your boat had been stored all winter could have led to this. It if was stored with the bow lower than the transom, any rain water, melt-off, etc would have moved forward. Once your boat was sitting normal, it would run aft. My 240DA is a 2004. So, there may be differences. But, my furthest hull penetration toward the bow is my air conditioning pickup. It is right in front of the engine.
